Dear reader,                                                                                                                                                 as you are considering to buy a property in Turkey and perhaps joining the International family of Curbanoglu, I should like to share with you a little of my life, beliefs and visions.           

I was born on 7th January 1950, in Dalaman which is a paradise town in the region of Mugla, where Aegean and Mediterranean seas meet. I spent my childhood as the eldest child of four in an ordinary family, helping my father and family with their work.                                                  My family and all of our ancestors, over the last 300 years, were born, lived and died in this region. Every month I regularly visit the grave of my grandfather who passed away in 1962.      In the secondary school and high school years, I started to compare and appreciate the beauty and ambience that I saw and was priverliged to live in, and realized that I wanted to live and raise a family in this beautiful area in the future. I was born the son of a farmer and raised to love nature, its creatures, the mountains and lakes.                                                                            In late 1960s tourism was just starting, I met Europeans who visited this region and I saw their culture and mentality differences. I liked foreign guests and, appreciated their culture and the innovations they introduced.                                                                                                                      In 1968 when I started studying Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University which is the leading technical university in Turkey, I had a clear idea and vision about what I would aspire to do, and become in the future.                                                                                            When I started my professional life as a civil engineer in 1976, I had formed clear ideas about how to share the use of this paradise between local people and European guests, and how they could cherish and enjoy a wonderfully economic home in that beatiful location with warm hearted local people and then pass on to their children and grandchildren for enjoyment and future financial benefits. After working as a freelance designer for four years in my private office, in 1980 I made a quick start and completed my military service in the Army. I then married and founded my first big company, Curbanoglu Design and Construction Ltd. which specialized in property sales and consultancy. I started with only one teamaker, 26 years later the staff have now reached up to 200 employees; I started with one bicycle, as the Company advance, we now have up to 30 vehicles and heavy duty construction machines; I had only one modest house, now we are fortunate to have several houses, in different locations, we have 400 building plots and 1000s acres of fields, which all consist of different kinds of natural beauties and landscapes.                                                                                                                            I created and still go on creating houses in which people can spend their lives or vacations, in peace, good health and happiness and which can meet the secret dreams which we all have, for ourselves and our families.                                                                                                                My desire is to build houses which meet the budget and architectural desires of every family. So far I have built houses for around 1600 people fom European countries. As each of these houses was built according to the tastes of our customers, there are many different architectural styles and interior designs in our houses.                                                                       If today we have many different plots, suitable for different tastes, it is the outcome of our extensive experience and awareness of Euopean clients’ needs. In recent years we have found that local and foreign agents, investment companies and International investors want to work with us, one of the reasons for this is our large land bank of building plots, in outstaning locations and also the differences in our construction quality, when compared to other construction companies in the region. We take great pride that we have certified specialists in every department to organize and control the workflow, our quality and after sales.                       If we have created a group of happy homeowners and individuals around us, we believe the reason for this is our eagerness to solve their problems, behave in a way which makes them feel part of the local Turkish community and, to deal with them not only during the construction period, but share the life that they spend here afterwards                                                               Our principle is to have customers who are extremely happy with the decision they made and, not to experience any problems with any of our customers and our future neigbours. For that reason we can wholeheartedly say, we will share the same happiness, in the same town and in the same place with them until the end of our lives. How many companies can use such a self confident and strong expression? We have been here for 26 years and I and my two sons will also be here both now and in the future. We will go on living here. After my existence, my children and grandchildren also will go on living in Dalaman area, proud of our respectable name and our local and international friends.
